Sara Hall Moves to Ninth on American All-Time Marathoner List with Third Place Finish in Ottawa Marathon

Sara Hall finished third Sunday at the Ottawa Marathon, setting a personal best of 2:26:20.

RESULTS

Hall missed several races earlier this spring, including the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships and the Boston Marathon, due to injury.

The 35-year old now stands ninth on the U.S. all-time performer list.

Gelete Burka of Ethiopia won the women's race in a Canadian all-comers record of 2:22:17. Hiwot Gebrekidan, also of Ethiopia, finished second in 2:26:11.
